The Series 412 vertical laminar flow clean benchesare specifically designed to create a freestandingultra-clean mini-environment. These clean benches,or mini-environments, are available in a varietyof sizes and styles engineered to provide excellentsolutions for many air filtration applications. Thesystems may vary from vertical flow benches withopen interiors to exhausting clean benches with wetprocess, to recirculating temperature control Class10 systems.Clean benches can be used in conjunction withcleanrooms to create clean zones. They can alsobe used in lieu of or supplemental to a cleanroom.Often times in larger cleanrooms, there are a few“critical clean” areas. It is sometimes more costeffectiveto build a lower class cleanroom andsupplement it with clean benches, than it is to createa higher class cleanroom. This is especially truewhen over 60% of a typical cleanroom floor spaceis area where clean manufacturing or storage doesnot occur.
